From idea to launch

A successful result always starts with a good preparation. During the discovery phase in our method, your wishes, ambitions and goals in terms of appearance, design and functionality are clearly mapped out together with you. This phase is crucial for the further course of the process, so from Zaakmakers a lot of attention is paid to this. Our specialists want to get to know you and your company well and get inside your head, so to speak, to translate your wishes into an effective roadmap. In this phase of the process, we extensively look at the nature of your company/organization, what services and/or products you provide, who your target group is and how you want to profile your company. This way a clear picture of the desired result is generated. These wishes, ambitions and objectives are laid down in a work plan which will be used as a basis for the further process. Depending on the desired solution(s), the work plan will be structured and phased from start to finish.

In this phase of the method, the actual design takes place, taking into account the established scope and the wishes expressed by you. Scope means which activities we will carry out on the basis of the discovery phase. Everything that is not mentioned in this roadmap falls outside the scope. To make the project as effective as possible it is very important that as much as possible is determined in the first phase. Wishes in the area of visuality and/or functionality that are made known during the process can cause delays in the further course of the process. We have reached the next phase of the project and have come to know your company well, which means we are able to translate your wishes into visual solutions. In this phase of our working method, the delivered primary design is discussed with you, approved by you and again laid down in the work plan. Prior to the design phase, extensive thought has gone into achieving the desired result.

After the design phase has been successfully completed, it is time for the technical aspects, such as coding work for a website. Depending on the extent of the desired technical functionality, the previously estimated development time is planned and reserved to carry out these activities.

Think here of specific wishes regarding your website such as an online booking system or a digital billing system for your webshop, our specialists are ready for you. Also for this phase, in accordance with our working method, an extensive preparation trajectory has preceded. Before these activities are actually carried out, a technical and functional design has already been made in the discovery phase, in which the desired functionality is described so that our developer can start working with it immediately.

Once both the design and development phases have been successfully completed, i.e. extensively tested and approved, we can move on to the delivery phase. This phase in our working method is also called launch or go-live. This refers mainly to the transfer of the development/test environment to production. Effectively, this means putting the product into use, such as a website or webshop. Included in the delivery phase is a general user training where you learn more about the operation, use and maintenance of your website or webshop. During this training there is also an opportunity for you to ask your user questions. Finally, we remain on standby for three days after launch to provide support if necessary. We call this period after-live-support. This way, you can start well prepared and have a solid basis of knowledge and information about your website or webshop.
